If he/she does not complete the lap and returns from the opposite direction, he/she is obliged to report it to the timing staff. Relay changeovers will take place in the start area in the zone designated by the organisers.

8.2 START OF THE RACE

There will be a ceremonial mass start of the race from the square on Saturday 27 June 2020 at 11 pm, and then there is flying entry into the first timed lap (on the grounds of the open-air cinema). All the entrants of the entire (relay) team may take part in the ceremonial start. Those relay participants who will not ride in the first lap will stay in the pit area, and they will not enter the timed section.

8.3 CHANGEOVERS

Changeovers of entrants in a team may take place at any interval but only in the zone designated for that. A changeover is confirmed by a visible touch, e.g. by a slap. Changeovers elsewhere on the course are not possible and will result in disqualification.

8.4 TIMING

The race will be timed by means of chips. Every entrant will receive a chip during the presentation along with his/her race number.
The chip will be read by a timing carpet placed at the beginning and at the end of a timed lap as well as at a checkpoint approximately in the middle of the lap (split time).
Timing is provided by SPORTSOFT, and current results will be available on its website.

Every participant is obliged to use sufficient lighting (white at the front and red at the rear) from 9 pm to 5 am, and the rear light must not be flashing but must only be shining all the time.

8.8 CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Participation is conditional on the submission of a duly completed and signed application of a participant in the race, without demanding any change or without reservations.
